“For even as the body is one and yet has many members, and all the members of the body, though they are many, are one body, so also is Christ.” 1 Corinthians 12:12
Putting a puzzle together requires determination. It has many different pieces and when one is missing, it is not complete. However, gratification comes when all of the pieces come together and you see the finished product. The same concept applies with the body of Christ. All have different gifts, yet one and the same Spirit works in each. The Lord delights when His body, the church, unites in one accord. Let us therefore come together to create a masterpiece for Our King!
Not part of our Intercessory Prayer Team? Intercessory prayer is not just praying for someone else’s needs. Intercession is praying with the real hope and real intent that God will step in and meet that given need. It is trusting God to act, even if it’s not in the manner or timing we seek.
The Bible has many cases of people standing up for others before God.
Abraham and Moses were great examples of intercessors as were many others in the Bible. Jesus was the prime example of an intercessor. His whole life, His whole reason for being born, was to be a living intercession. There was a specific time and place when God decided to send the fire of the Holy Spirit. Acts 2:1-4 records; “When the day of Pentecost came, they were all together in one place. Suddenly a sound like the blowing of a violent wind came from heaven and filled the whole house where they were sitting. They saw what seemed to be tongues of fire that separated and came to rest on each of them. All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit enabled them.”
Note that they were gathered together in one accord. There is power when the body of Christ comes together in one mind with a spirit of expectancy and a will to serve. God sends His promises, fills His people and empowers them for what lies ahead. Come and experience God’s love, mercy and power. Your family awaits you!

As Mother’s Day is fast approaching, have you taken the time to acknowledge all your Mom has done for you?
Deuteronomy 5:16 says; “Honor your father and your mother, as the LORD your God has commanded you, so that you may live long and that it may go well with you in the land the LORD your God is giving you.” For those whose mother is no longer with us, celebrate this day by thanking God for the years you shared with her.
