“In the same way, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven.” Matthew 5:16
The Bible tells us to let our light shine before men. When others see Jesus through us, it brings glory to our Heavenly Father. It’s an outward declaration that you are a child of the Most High Living God. When you allow His light to shine through, you are proclaiming to all those around you how much you love Jesus and that no matter your circumstance, no matter what’s going on in the world, you are going to praise Him.
Is your light shining? Is it shining bright or has it flickered down? Perhaps you have experienced a situation that has caused your light to dim, almost to the point of turning off or perhaps even has completely diminished. Don’t allow the darkness to overcome you. Take that step to praise Him and love Him no matter what. For when we are with the Lord, walking by His side and serving Him, there can be no darkness. Make a commitment today to shine bright for Jesus for all to see!

The fundraising for Chosen Generation’s upcoming missions trip to Atlanta is underway. From the looks of the water bottles, the boys have the lead. Please continue to pray for and support our youth so that they can be a blessing to others!

There was a specific time and place when God decided to send the fire of the Holy Spirit. Acts 2:1-4 records; “When the day of Pentecost came, they were all together in one place. Suddenly a sound like the blowing of a violent wind came from heaven and filled the whole house where they were sitting. They saw what seemed to be tongues of fire that separated and came to rest on each of them. All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit enabled them.”
Note that they were gathered together in one accord. There is power when the body of Christ comes together in one mind with a spirit of expectancy and a will to serve. God sends His promises, fills His people and empowers them for what lies ahead. Come and experience God’s love, mercy and power. Your family awaits you!
