Our Journey Begins!
Well we finally on our way. All the preparation and fundraisers have paid off. Yesterday after the service, we packed the van and the trailer. We are all very excited for what the Lord is going to do. We have expecting hearts because we know the Lord is going to move us in a mighty way!
We went to be early. We woke up at 3:00am to get an early start on the road. The group will get a much needed rest before the devotionals. We are looking forward to good fellowship.
Additionally, we celebrate Ricky’s Jr. belated birthday. We had a good time and ate cake provided by Hilda. Fortunately, we manage to have a good time before the weather deteriorated. This event did not damper our spirits and we are road ready.
Remember that this week our newsletter will become a diary of our activities. You will hear from us firsthand on what we’re doing and what’s taking place throughout our trip. It’s so exciting that we will be able to communicate with all of you through this vehicle. While you will all be miles away, it’ll feel like you’re right there with us! More details tomorrow.
PS. By the time you finished reading this newsletter, we will be already on the road. Stay updated by following us on Twitter or visiting our site. We will be provided real time updates of our whereabouts. We hope to hear from you by posting on our blog or via Twitter. Find out where are we now!

Have you ever been to a major sporting event? If you have not, it is a sight to see. A couple of months ago, I had the opportunity of attending the World Baseball Classic. This was not just an ordinary baseball game… it was a game like none other. The event takes place every four years (just like the Olympics).
In the Bible, there are many scriptures that talk about singing, shouting and making our praises unto God. When we attend sporting events or concerts, we have no problems with shouting and showing our emotions. We want everyone to know who we are cheering for and have no qualms about it. When it comes to praising the Lord it becomes a totally different “ballgame”… no pun intended.
